Before and during the concept design phase, we conduct targeted research, select important components, and test potential technical solutions with mockups.

During the first stages of the project, our focus is on finding new innovative solutions and testing these idea’s very early in the process.

Our designers create quick sketches and models, run simulations and calculations and use results of academic research, experimental research, information found in patents and results from testing ourselves with existing solutions or new solutions.

The idea is to fail as early as possible with bad solutions and select only those technical solutions and directions that actually will perform well in the real product.

bicycle development, kinematics simulations

kinematics and geometry

During the design and development of bicycles we use simulation software to develop solutions for bike suspension, kinematics and geometry.

We do not only simulate, but also ride bikes, test with mules and make small iterations which help us design a geometry and kinematics that fits the bike we are developing.
