This is the time to share the latest details and discuss input for the strategy and research stages. And we will explain the process again so that we have clear expectations.

We design useful products for people. Product that make a real improvement for the user in terms of safety, performance, health or living conditions. Products that people will love.
Therefore part of the topics of the design strategy are about the user, core meanings, configuration, ergonomics and user environment.
On the other hand we study competition, your company identity, present portfolio, product architecture and the core technical requirements.
All this together results in a 60 – 80 pages document, with many visuals, background information, direction and tools. The conclusions of the Design Strategy give answers to how the product will look like in terms of shapes, materials, colors without making a single sketch yet. And it gives answers to how the product will function, with attention to ergonomics, weight, package, costs, technical solutions, limitations, production volume, market position, etc.
It greatly helps us to create focus and use the design strategy as a visual contract during the next stages.
