Our work in the field of rehabilitation product design includes the design and development of wheelchairs, lifts, mobility scooters, and walkers, for both older adults and people with disabilities.

With our multidisciplinary design team, we work on complex rehabilitation product projects, from the initial idea through to production. We conduct research, develop a design strategy, test early mockups and prototypes for ergonomics and functionality, and refine concepts into production-ready prototypes.

Throughout the design process, we also take into account the wishes and needs of healthcare professionals; in many cases, they are already involved in the project during the research and concept development phase to ensure that we create products that also meet their daily needs.

wheelchair

Enjoy freedom with this new electric wheelchair. The wheelchair rides up to 6 km/h and folds into a small package that can be placed in a car.

The seat is adjustable and fold-up armrests make it easier to get into the seat. The brushless and maintenance free motor is powerful and quiet.

We helped our client with wheelchair design from the bottom up, although we took into account all experience that our client had with the older generation wheelchairs. A scale model was shown at the Rehacare show.

Starting from strategy, concept design and folding kinematics, we continued with the full 3D CAD development up to a production ready level and intermediate scale models to test functionality.

Light, fold-able and good looking. The new mobility scooter offers a great degree of freedom, rides up 6 km/h and the scooter folds into a small package that can be placed in a car or the plane.

The four wheel setup gives the mobility scooter great stability, while the compact dimensions make sure that people can easily maneuver.

We developed this foldable mobility scooter from the ground up: from the concept, folding mechanisms, and modular design to the integration of the motors and drivetrain, the integration of electronics, 3D CAD engineering of all frame and housing components, prototype construction, testing, and preparation for production.
